FGL filmed CMT Crossroads with Backstreet Boys last night in Nashville. The show airs on August 30 (on CMT, of course) and you can expect all of the boys to be singing "I Want it That Way", "H.O.L.Y.", "As Long As Your Love Me", "Everybody", "Cruise", and more! Can't wait to hear BK and Tyler sing those iconic BSB harmonies!
Last night (July 29), FGL played their 2nd stadium show of the "Smooth Tour" in Minneapolis, MN, and we were even in attendance! Another EPIC performance of course, but for us, having Backstreet Boys there (as we've been massive fans from the beginning - 21 years!) made it extra special. If you can get out to a show (ANY FGL show), you have to - no ifs, ands or buts about it. Every tour gets bigger and better. Check out some professional pictures and our personal ones below!
Backstreet Boys & Florida Georgia Line to Reunite for 'CMT Crossroads'
Backstreet Boys got their first hit country song this year on a collaboration with country duo Florida Georgia Line, and now the two powerhouse acts are teaming up for a CMT Crossroads episode airing Aug. 30.
The cross-genre television show will feature all-star group performances of each other's biggest singles, including "I Want It That Way," ''As Long As You Love Me," ''Cruise" and "H.O.L.Y.," as well as their partnership on the platinum hit "God, Your Mama, and Me."
The "Smooth Tour" (feat. Chris Lane and Nelly) continued in Boston last night, except this show had a very special guest... Kicking off the first of three stadium shows (next is Minneapolis and then Chicago), FGL was joined by the Backstreet Boys! Not only did BSB do their own thing, but they joined FGL on stage for "Anything Goes", "Smooth", "God, Your Mama and Me", "Everybody" and "Cruise"!
If you've been to a recent Smooth Tour date, you'll have heard FGL debut two new demo songs, "Turnt" and "Swerve". They are definitely a departure from FGL's country roots, but they are just demos so if you're worried about this change of sound, they could just be for fun. Anyways, listen to the new songs below.
Tyler took to his Instagram story to share that he and Hayley will be welcoming a baby BOY this December! They had a gender reveal party with their friends and family today. There was a cake, half pink and half blue on the outside, with the inside a dyed shade of chocolate BLUE.
We are so excited to see little Hubbard this winter.
FGL are attending the 2017 CMT Awards in Nashville tonight. They are nominated for 3 awards (Video, Duo Video and Collaborative Video of the Year) and performing "Last Day Alive" with The Chainsmokers!
[EDIT] FGL won "Duo Video of the Year" for 'H.O.L.Y."
We want to give a HUGE congratulations to Tyler and Hayley in this exciting time! We are beyond excited to celebrate. -------
Baby on the Way for Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard: It’s ‘All About God’s Timing’ Tyler Hubbard has a confession — he’s going to be a dad!
The Florida Georgia Line member and his wife Hayley are expecting their first child, the couple confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.
“There’s a lot of excitement — it’s something we’ve looked forward to for a while,” Tyler, 30, tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue of the new addition, who is due to make his or her arrival in December.
Explains Hayley of how the two found out the baby news, “We’d just gotten back from California and I wasn’t sleeping … I woke up one night and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. I’m pregnant.’ ”
“So I took a test the next morning and I couldn’t even contain myself, I was so excited. I honestly didn’t have time to think of how to surprise Tyler, so I just jumped back into bed and showed him the pregnancy stick,” shares The Vogue Trip founder, who admits she hasn’t “been feeling great” during her first trimester.
“Tons of morning sickness. Just nausea all day, but that’s to be expected,” Hayley, 30, tells PEOPLE. But instead of staying at home and “feeling sorry for” herself, Hayley flew to Malawi with the UCSF School of Nursing to advocate for maternal child health initiatives.
